1st Blog Post - How to Identify a Good Book
Find a good book is always difficult, a lot of people trying to be a good author, few with success. Recently, I read a book named Uglies, from Scott Westerfeld, and this book is really, really good! It's the kind of book I particularly like, because it catches my attention, it ends with a taste of "I want more" and there is a lot of climax moments, when you think Tally (the main character) will not get it. Is a fiction-romance book, that tells the story of our society in some years from now, if we don't stop wasting and destroying the nature. Is a story of a society that when people are 16 years old, in the day of their birthdays, they do a surgery to become a perfect person, and as a perfect, they have the right to party and to do what they want. But, there is a society, Smoke, that think there is something wrong with this surgery. So, Tally becomes friends with Shay, and Shay is always talking about this society. In the day of their surgery (because both were born on the same day), Shay ranaway, and a govern organ, Special Circumstances, go to Tally and tell her that she will only become perfect if she finds Shay! Then, the history begins! So, this catches your attention during the whole book, have a lot of climax moments and ends in a INCREDIBLE way! That's what a good book needs to!
- The whole PERFECT serie.
